From May 26 to June 3, 2024, the second Saab Club member trip was organized. This time the membership trip went to Slovenia and northern Italy. At Bled in Slovenia, 14 crews started a tour of Slovenia and Italy with their Saab. The group was accompanied by one Matra Murena from Roads4Classics and one Volkswagen Caddy from Van Dijk Autotechniek as technical support. Once again, the contact between them was close from the first minute. <\/p>\n
26.05.2024<\/strong> – The meeting point is the town of Bled on Lake Bled in Slovenia. Day 1 is therefore dedicated to arriving, gathering and getting acquainted. Here we will stay for 2 nights. <\/p>\n 27.05.2024<\/strong> – This day we “conquered” the first mountain pass, the Vr\u0161i\u0107 pass. Then we continued our way back to Bled via Italy. This evening we had dinner at Bled Castle, a magical place to enjoy the food and the view. <\/p>\n 28.05.2024<\/strong> – Via the interior of the country we drove from Bled to Postojna. Once we arrived at the hotel we jointly visited the beautiful caves of Postojna. <\/p>\n 29.05.2024<\/strong> – We left Slovenia to continue our journey further into Italy. Through inland, we drove towards Trieste and then drove as much as possible along the coastline to Lido di Jesolo. <\/p>\n 30.05.2024<\/strong> – Day 5 was a somewhat longer drive but with a wonderful final destination, namely Riva del Garda. First we drove inland and then drove a bit along Lake Garda towards the hotel. <\/p>\n 31.05.2024 <\/strong>– On this 6th day we drove towards the Alps. On the way to the Mendol pass we had a surprise wine tasting. After the tasting we continued our way to our hotel located between the Mendol and Tonale passes. <\/p>\n 01.02.2024<\/strong> – Via the Tonale we drove towards Lake Como. We stayed on the northwest side of the lake. <\/p>\n 02.06.2024<\/strong> – This day everyone could decide how to fill the day. One could choose to drive to Lake Lugano (+\/- 30 km from the hotel), a full tour around Lake Como (+\/- 162 km), to the Monza circuit (+\/- 85km from hotel) whether or not in combination with Milan etc. In short, enough possibilities.
