The Roadtrip to Dubrovnik 2024 combines inland Croatia and the Velebit Mountains with the beautiful Dalmatian coast. We started in a forested area inland, to descend towards the coast after the Velebit Mountains. This alternation provided a great variety of landscapes!

This 9-day road trip started in the town of Ogulin and ended in beautiful Dubrovnik. Along the way we visited Gospić, Pakoštane, Split, Makarska and the Pelješac peninsula, among others.

During the trip there were two free days: the first in Makarska and the second – also the last day – in Dubrovnik. This left room for optional excursions, such as a visit to the island of Brač (with one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe) or the spectacular Biokovo Skywalk. Thanks to the extra day in Dubrovnik, this impressive city could also be explored in a relaxed manner.

21.09.2024 – Today was the gathering and arrival day of the Roadtrip to Dubrovnik 2024. Despite some delays here and there, everyone arrived well. After a short introduction and a word of welcome we had dinner together. Tomorrow the real work begins: the first day of driving!

22.09.2024 – The first day of driving is a fact. We left Ogulin in the direction of Gospić. With beautiful weather, colorful nature and wonderfully winding roads, it was enjoyment from the first moment!

23.09.2024 – Today the second stage was on the program: from Gospić to Vrana. Two routes were available: a challenging route via an unpaved mountain pass, and an alternative without an unpaved section. Arriving at our hotel, the cars could be parked in the courtyard – that gave just that extra bit of charm!

24.09.2024 – From Vrana today we drove in the direction of Split. The route was varied, with a beautiful viewpoint over Kaštel and Split. After arriving at the hotel, everyone explored the attractive center of Split at their own pace and in their own way.

25.09.2024 – Today we drove on to Makarska. After a stretch along the coastline, we largely followed the Cetina River, driving around Biokovo Mountain to finally reach the coast again.

26.09.2024 – Free day! Everyone could decide today how to spend the day. Some stayed relaxed at the beach near the hotel, others took a trip to the island of Brač or visited the Skywalk of Biokovo. Something for everyone!

27.09.2024 – The last leg of the road trip! We left Makarska and drove towards Dubrovnik via an atmospheric wine tasting on the Pelješac peninsula. Tomorrow is a free day to explore this city.

28.09.2024 – Today everyone had the chance to explore Dubrovnik in their own way. Tired but satisfied, we concluded the trip with a joint dinner, where we toasted to a wonderful and successful trip.

29.09.2024 – Time to say goodbye and start the journey home. Full of new memories, we look back on an unforgettable road trip!
