Roads4classicS crossed the border this year, albeit still near Croatia! The Lakes & Mountains Roadtrip 2025 started in Slovenia and ended in northern Italy. In picturesque Bled, Slovenia, 14 crews gathered and from the very first moment the mutual atmosphere was close and familiar.

May 20, 2025 – Gathering day in Bled, located on the famous lake. The first day was all about arriving, gathering and getting acquainted. We stayed here for two nights.

May 21, 2025 – On the program was to conquer the first mountain pass: the Vršić Pass. Unfortunately, it turned out to be unexpectedly closed, so an alternative route was chosen ad hoc. In the evening we enjoyed dinner at Bled Castle – a magical place with delicious food and breathtaking views.

May 22, 2025 – Via a beautiful route through the Slovenian interior we drove to Postojna. After arriving at the hotel we jointly visited the impressive caves of Postojna.

May 23, 2025 – We said goodbye to Slovenia and headed for Italy. We drove inland to Trieste, then drove as much as possible along the coastline toward Lido di Jesolo.

May 24, 2025 – Day 5 was a somewhat longer drive, but the final destination made up for everything: Riva del Garda. The route was first through the interior and then along Lake Garda toward the hotel.

May 25, 2025 – On Day 6 we headed into the Alps. On the way to Mendel Pass we enjoyed a surprise wine tasting. Then we continued our way to the hotel, beautifully located between Mendel and Tonale Pass.

May 26, 2025 – Through the Tonale Pass we drove on toward Lake Como, where we stayed on the northwest side of the lake.

May 27, 2025 – This day could be filled as desired. For example, participants could take a drive to Lake Lugano (approx. 30 km), a full lap around Lake Como (approx. 162 km), visit the Monza circuit (approx. 85 km), whether or not combined with a visit to Milan. In short: plenty of possibilities. The day ended with a pleasant drink to conclude the road trip.

May 28, 2025 – This last day included sleeping in, having breakfast, checking out and beginning the journey home.
