For the first time, Roads4classicS stepped outside the familiar terrain of Croatia to organize a completely new and unique road trip – exclusively for the Saab Club Netherlands. And not without reason: this time it was heading for the far north!

With 18 beautiful Saabs, 36 enthusiastic participants and technical support provided by Arjo van Dijk of Van Dijk Autotechniek, our adventure began in Copenhagen.

Via the iconic Saab Museum in Trollhättan, the trip ended in atmospheric Varberg, on Sweden’s west coast.

An unforgettable drive through vast landscapes, past lakes, forests and of course – pure Saab passion.

08-06-2025 – The Saab Club Scandic Roadtrip has begun! After arriving on this gathering day, it was time to get to know each other over a welcome drink, followed by a pleasant communal dinner and a clear explanation of the program.

09-06-2025 – Today was all about Copenhagen. Participants were given the freedom to explore the city at their own pace. Some joined the Royal Run, others visited attractions such as Tivoli, various museums, The Little Mermaid and took boat tours of the city.

10-06-2025 – Today the real road trip adventure begins with the first day of driving. After leaving Denmark behind, we drove over the impressive Öresund Bridge into Sweden. From there we meandered through the beautiful interior to our cozy hotel in Unnaryd. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious dinner in an atmospheric setting.

11-06-2025– Today we drive towards Trollhättan – the birthplace of Saab! A beautiful route drove from our hotel Tiraholms to Trollhättan. Of course we did not leave before a few group photos were taken. Via various forest roads – and even a bit of gravel – we arrived in Trollhättan at the end of the day.

12-06-2025 – Today most of the day revolved around Saab. In the afternoon we visited the Saab Museum. Afterwards, everyone was free to spend the rest of the day as they pleased. Right next to the museum is also the impressive lock system of Trollhättan, well worth seeing.

In the early evening, we returned to the Saab Museum, where we dined together at this special location surrounded by the collection. A unique and memorable experience!

13-06-2025 – Had a wonderful drive from Trollhättan to Björholmens (Tygg). From inland we drove towards the west coast, via the islands of Orust and Lyr, where we had a delicious lunch stop. Then on to our hotel in Björholmens marina. After arriving, we had a nice time by the water and ended the day with a delicious dinner.

14-06-2025 – Today already the last leg of our road trip, from our hotel at the harbor towards Varberg. On the way we made another surprising stop at the Tjolöholm Castle. Once we arrived at the beach hotel everyone could enjoy the beautiful weather. Over dinner we toasted together to a great trip and great memories!

15-06-2025 – Today we said goodbye to each other and everyone left for home, overnight ‘s hotel or vacation address.
